I'v noticed a lot of new members posting latley , you know in the wrong sections . Bless their little hearts :lol: Could it be because of Neowin's site troubles or the bad weather ? Just wondering hav'nt had a chance to vist here myself much in the last few weeks . But looks good on the new sign ups :)

It's because member's with a 0 post count now get a message saying 'why not make a post introduce yourself blah blah' and I think they just make their 1 post to make it go away. :lol:

It's fine as it is now. At least some new members are participating, of sorts.

I'v noticed some new members asking questions in old threads , I mean "old" threads . At least their searching for a problem first,thats to be commendable but I find my self answering a three year old thread . :D

It used to be ,did you Goggle that or use the search function ? Thought it was funny tho . :)

The only section that is limited to members is the Bittorent Invites Section.
We had to many sigups that made request there and gone...

As a noob myself I think we get a bit thrown by the - you can post here but not there and only after 5 of this or 10 of that... most folks like to say hi and then be able to participate in whatever section is of interest - gets confusing otherwise - IMHO
It's only the BT section like reality said because people would just sign up, take an invite and leave.
That is not the point of the invite section, it is to gibve invites to trusted long-time members/friends on the forum.
