Theres always AIM ad hack to take care of that, so it doesn't matter.

I used that with the regular version, but it causes my aim to have those "aol instant messenger has encountered an unknown problem and needs to close" errors. So I uninstalled. NIS blocks the ad in the main window for me, which is all I need to block anyway.

Someone have a link for aim adhack or is that illegal also?

If you can't post it can you tell me if the first result for "aim adhack" is right? that site just seems sort of suspicious.

This is the site for adhack. I think you can post it here. the msn messenger patch was discussed.

(sorry if it's not allowed)

I had much the same problem with the validating screen.

For me, it ended up being some conflict with a .dll that Ahead Nero 7 and Triton share. All it took was updating Nero to the lastest version (7.0.1.4).

No more validating hold...

However, I have heard that people are also having validating issues depending on the language that is set on their computer.

Try setting it to English (not sure if region matters, maybe United States is important, don't know why it would be) and signing on.

Hope this helps.

i'm having this problem too, but.. i don't exaclty have a legit copy of nero.. and can't find the newer version from my "source".. if so many people are having this problem, i think they'll have a patch out soon.. does anyone know the exact name of the dll file?

AIM triton sucks ass. Like stated before, its mega bloatware.. If you need AIM stick to like Trillian or something that can connect to multiple networks and doesnt contain extra shit. Or if you like the original AIM client, then move back to AIM 5.2 because that was the last version to NOT be bloatware and have all the essential features (that, and almost all 3rd party hacks work on this version).
