View Full Version : Role Playing Games

The last few days, the Moderating team has received numerous complaints about members posting links to these so called roll playing games like Outwar, Kings Of Chaos and Porn Star Guru.

From now on, posting links or tricking people into clicking links to these "games" will be considered as SPAM, this will apply to links in signatures as well.

Any member who violates this will be put under moderation without warning, by the second offense he/she will be banned for life.

I take it there are ways to identify people other than the ip adress they have when they connect.

Would this also apply to the people who use multiple identities. Particularly those who do it with the obvious intent of causing bother.

Who mentioned you, halfwit.

Before anyone rushes to his defence he posted something similar elsewhere, only with the obligatory insult.

I don't hate you.

That would be an emotional response to your lies and drivel. Love the latest by the way. Can anyone tell me how to make multiple sig3dat's, posted in MovieWorld.

I think you're a pathetic sad halfwit. It would be ethically wrong for me to hate you. There's very little I hate. I can't think of any person I hate. I pity you, but in a way that's possibly worse.

Solidsnake, I read Jmif's post very carefully and found nothing that could be pointing at you.
Jmif, maybe you could be a bit more subtle with the "kids" on this board.

Just my humble opinion as a member. :)
Let's see who'll stop this flaming first; my opinion as Mod. ;)

I'm sorry, no, if you mean by "labeling" them you let people know what they are clicking on - please read the rule again. :)

If you want to exchange links you should do that via PM, anything else is forbidden.
This sounds harsh, but certain people have been way out of line with these links, and we've had a LOT of complaints about it. ;)

I play KOC, and just recently lost 200 out of my 400 men to gain 15000 attack bonus. Yet, I do not feel it neccesary to trick ppl into clicking my link. I do not get any clicks, but have increased my unit production to 22 men a day, so I do not feel the need to have every1 in this forum clicking...

But on the other side... I would like to suggest a new world, "Online-gamingworld", where ppl could post their links to these games, and any1 who do not wish to click, stay out! Good idea, ya? :)

I appreciate the fact you want to play this game in a fair way, but most members would be very much against creating a new forum section for it.

It's the "bad" players of these games that have ruined it for the good players.
If they didn't have tried to trick people into clicking their links by saying "I've found this great website" or "Matrix Reloaded, download it here" and "I have a solution for your problem, click here", this rule wouldn't have been necessary. :(

Why don't add "Outwar" and all other words to the word filter of the board ad change them to banned or something.
