since i am in canada, the 24.XXX.XX.XX showed that it is a candian ip adress, however, when i checked the location of 72.XXX.XX.XX it said that it was in calfornia. That is why i was worried.

Your IP shows that it's rogers so you're fine. :P
Mine is 69.xxx.xxx.xxx and i'm also on rogers.
It's normal for the IP to change over time (unless you have a 'Static' ip), altho mine hasn't in almost 2 years because of my router. :P

I have Comcast, and my ip only change if I do a mac clone on my router and reboot it.

:O California? As long as it's not Death Valley, I think you should be allright. :)

mind only changes if I lose power for a bit. Enough time for someone else to grab the ip. I think I've only had 3 or 4 ips for as long as I've had my cable internet, which is a few years.
