Hey there..I am stuck I am desperate for help.

Lately I have been having problems with the computer rebooting when I use ANY filesharing program. I have reformatted computer thinking that would fix it, it hasn't. I thought it may have been dodgy ram, but no.

I don't know if it has anything to do with my wireless broadband? Coz I think it started happening when I went wireless, not 100% sure though.

And my computer is more than able to cope with the demands on p2p

P4 3.0

2 x sata hd , 2 x ide (320gig)

1gig ram

256mg vid card

if someone could please offer suggestions it would be much appreciated.

You probably have an out of date driver, the problem is finding out which one. Uf you turn off automatic restart you will probably find out what the system thinks is the cause of the problem.

Right click on My Computer and select properties. Go to the "Advanced" tab and select "Startup and Recovery" Settings. Uncheck "Automatically restart" and select OK.

Next time your system fails you should get a blue screen (commonly known as the Blue Screen of Death, BSoD) with details of the fault. Make a note of what it says (there will probably be quite a lot of info) and in particular the lines beginnning *** Stop and *** Address. They tell you what the cause was and where it occured.

Here's an example of the sort of info you will be presented with:

Once you have that info we can begin to diagnose the problem.

Definitely a driver issue.
Check their site for a different version.
