It's about 1.24GB and it installs off a DVD. I just worry about a keylogger or something hidden inside. I would hate that.

I did my own slipstream of XP VLK & SP2 using Neowin's Autostreamer.

Then I took that CD. Which is around 580MB. Then I cut out all the shit I didn't want using nLite. Used their NET runtime so I didn't have to install shit .NET framework :). And now my install disk is around 299MB.

Both were real EASY! I suggest you stay away from somebody elses distro & make your own.

I installed a slipstream once, was the worst decision ive ever made.... Installed a shitload of virus's.

yea, i figure it's too tempting to include a trojan or two hidden within your distro

Do they normally run faster than installing windows and later installing the same applications? I figure they might...for awhile that is. (before windows starts getting fat and lazy)

Yes, I would really like to learn how to do that sometime. I figure designing my own custom VLK distro would be quite abit simpler than installing each individual application, driver and update after a reformat.

Just get AutoStreamer & nLite. That's all it takes. Besides XP VLK CD & SP2.
