I saw this movie lastnight and it has to be one of the best movies I have seen all year! I read the book when I was a kid and from what I remebered it followed the book very closely.
I didnt know that the book was written to represent Christanity, but after reading reviews and then watching the movie I saw it. It was refreshing. lol
The Lion=Christ, the White Witch=Satan.
The audiance was mostly adults who probley read the book as a child lol...I bought the book series for my kids, they should read it like I did.
I also read they want to make it the next LOTR series...there were 7 books written.
Very good movie I give it an A

what's so good about it? i don't know anything about it. i think i recall it from the younger years, but it's kinda hazy. it had good story? good cg? what's the deal? i watched the trailer, but what's going on? like u stated with the lion and white witch... heaven vs hell? does look good though so i'll watch it in due time.

The book is written as a childrens book but entertains the adults also. About 4 kids living in the Lodon Blitz that get sent to the country to get away from the war and discover a wardrobe that takes them to another land.
The story is very good and it was required reading when I was in HS. Which was probley why most the audiance were adults who read the book.
Not sure what cg means.
The story is about the white witch who made Narnia always winter. The actress played her very well and her white hair, pasty skin and eyes with no pupils made her look very evil
The chidren are the main characters representing hope for Narnia.
The Lion is all that is good.

Yeah I movie hopped last night and saw Aeon Flux and Get Rich Or Die Tryin'.

My kid was at the sitters so we didn't wanna Narnia without her.

It is cool for kids right?

I must say that from the previews it looks excellent.

a movie I would watch in theatres.

a renter - a movie that should be rented

a downloader - crappy or average movie that should be downloaded

u see, a movie u'd watch in theaters is also a downloaders. a renter can constitute as a downloader. and sometimes, a downloader will turn into a movie u'd watch in theaters. oh this bizarre world

ok, just watched it. meh, thought the movie was good, but having some kid walk thru a wardrobe then all of a sudden he's a knight of the world and then the king is just to damn stupid and kinda gay. i shoulda dropped the kids off in that one while i went and seen die hard 4.0.

There are seven books in total: (Chronological order)

1. The Magicians Nephew
2. The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe
3. A Horse and His Boy
4. Prince Caspian
5. The Voyage of the Dawn Treader
6. The Silver Chair
7. The Last Battle

I can't really see any others being made as films, but you never know...

Maybe 5. That was always my favourite of the books as a kid. Set on a ship, and would lend itself well to cool visual effects perhaps.

I saw it on Saturday and it had sort of LOTR appeal at the end. However, the movie dragged me and my little one were getting bored.

Thank goodness it picked up for the "tons of people fighting each other" battle.:ermm:

It was sort of a snorefest so I give it 3 stars (out of 5).

It was an ok file to watch nothing really special to talk about. At least it was better than king kong which seemd to drag on for ages and only had a good middle part which ony lasted about 45mins for a 3hr film.
