Anyone have one of these? I just got mine two days ago and I'm already looking at other phones. What a piece of shit this thing is. For all it's cool features and huge display screen, this phone is ruined by the user not being to hear. I have the volume turned al the way up and it's just to damn hard to hear. The ringer isn't even very loud. :angry:

they are pretty tight but rather than being fat it makes up for it by being long, and pocket filling

Yeah Verizon's version has VCast. I never thought the phone had enough features.
I like Palm Treos the best and also like Blackberrys.
It doesn't take up any space in my pocket. I don't even know it's there.
Did you know that this thing also censors your text messages if they're "obscene" or "racially tense". :dry:

I take function over form with the Treo.
I might get the new Treo with Windows on it but don't know when it's going to come out.
The Treo 650 (I have the 600) might drop so low in price that I'll be compelled to buy that instead. Then I'll pawn my 600 off on my gf.:happy:

I didn't have an opportunity to test it since I didn't know anyone with that phone and you can't test them in the stores, those are just demos. I bought the phone because the freebie I got with my plan wasn't a flip phone so I hated it. I despised having to unlock the thing all the time. I had thought about buying this phone for about a month when I saw a girl at the var with one. I asked her how she liked it and she said it was the best phone she's ever owned, etc., etc. so I went ahead and bought it. :pinch:

I was thinking about upgrading my T-Mobile phone to the RAZR since I get a big rebate after the year is over with my old phone but depending on how big the rebate is whether or not I'm going to get the phone. Also if the sound on it is too quiet I don't know if I will want it because the phone I have right now has really shitty sound. I guess as long as it doesn't disconnect like my current phone does then I'm good.

I would highly suggest finding one that's hooked up and test it first.
I have had my razr for about a week...so far so good. I still like my old sharp gx20i though.
Worst phone ever was another motorola the e1000 now that IS a pile of battery sucking, brick weighing crap.

It's fucking rubbish, feature-wise, compared to those huge phones that you can get now but it's tiny and it looks hawt, and they're the only reasons I bought it.

This so true. Sometimes my works asks me to venture out sometimes. I went to heathrow airport to sort out some shipping things at terminal 4, and all the fella's in the warehouse could show me and the bloke who went down there were how good they're pr0n was on their phones. The same happend at a shipping place in rochdale a few months ago as well.:blink:

Cool. I just went to the cell shop to ask if there was any firmware/software upgrades that would help me to be able to hear on my phone. They told me of a shop that does different "hacks" - i.e. - Unlocking, volume control, etc. The guy told me that Motorola phones have a volume control within a volume control and it kind of works like the gain control on an amp. They set the phones internal volume on 2 and then the user can adjust the volume themselves between the numbers 1-7. He essentially turned the internal volume up to a 4 so that even the lowest setting I put it on, would be almost as loud as the default highest setting. I must say I'm quite pleased and will be keping the phone now. :D

You can do all that stuff yourself... the volume was the first thing I hacked on my RAZR, then I debranded all the Cingular crap and unlocked the video recording feature. :D Lovely new skins as well.

Btw this (http://www.engadget.com/2006/02/08/motorola-razr-z-slider-launched-in-korea/) Razr looks much cooler than the iTunes Razr.:)
