AOHell still being a bitch about quiting, I remember having it way back when. They would keep you on the phone, talk all about it. Try and get you to stay. Throw a free month at you. So what we did, is we would call every month and say were fed up, and they would say well we can give you a free month. It was ok then i guess, cuase 56k was still the main thing kinda.

ahh I remember the days when I Used AOL, on my 28.8Kbps modem, way back in '95. Those were the days when you didn't need to supply your credit card, or REAL bank account details to them.

Needless to say cancelling after the free 50 hours was easy, compared to removing the software from the PC

When rebilling merchants keep fucking with me and not canceling my shit I just go to the credit card company.

I imagine for some it might be easier to say you lost your card (and get a new account # in the process) than to keep fucking with the "holdonsirwhydoyouwanttocancelcrap".

I DON'T WANNA PAY $23 FUCKING DOLLARS FOR 56K DIPSHIT!!!!

JUST STFU AND FUCKING DO WTF I ASKE...FUCK THAT, WTF I TOLD YOU TO DO!!!

I tell them credit the money and they launch an investigation.
