My uncle tried turning his comp on,no power,changed the lead...no,changed PSU...no,dead do ya think,or is there anything else I can try:unsure:

There's lots more you can try, if you've got the necessary bits. If not, you'll have to take it to someone who has, assuming it is worth the inspection fee.

Other than that, how far is it to the tip?

He solved the problem by going out and buying a new computer,told him to wait,but he went off and bought a Packard bell,theres no helping some people:pinch:
