Ok, as you know, some movies these times are released at the same time worldwide,
well, you might also know that when a blockbuster movie (say Episodes I, II, and III, Harry Potter, TLOTR, or ion this case King Kong)
comes out, everyone wants to go watch it for the first time, the same day, so movie theaters get overcrowded, (I was there at 12am for Episode III).
So to help reduce this, they resort to diferent tactics, like making a Pre-Premiere
at midnight, or really early on every single screen they have.
Ok, with all this said...
here in Tj, people are looking foward to King Kong, included me. So till' yesterday
I was of the understanding that December 14th was the worldwide release, thats why I took that day off from work.
But then I go to the theater's website and they say its not untill the 16th,
and I also went to the site's forum, thre I found a tread for every movie, but nothig for King Kong, are they afraid we will ask something? .
But then al freaked out I go to check dates on imdb.com, and mexico is set for the 14th too.
And just minutes ago on a 'bery mexican' TV Chanel (TV Azteca), they say "in theaters December 14".
Is this another Conspiracy to reduce overcrowding? .
if it is, it worries me, I mean, do they take us by Stupid?
are we that low here in Mexico.
I'll tell you what, tomorrow morning I'll be there, at the theater,
and if the movie is actially on... -.- .... well not really.
but I will be really pissed.
