Pretty good, shame he chucked a bum note during the last few quiet bars. I wonder if he will ever leave his bedroom and get out and perform in front of a real audience?

Saw a guy the other week in a local band that would blow him away with ease. I play myself and I have never seen a guy go so fast his fingers were a blur but every note was perfectly sounded. Its a bugger I can't remember the name of the band though...

It's not that hard, I can play that song.
The song he's playing is entitled "Canon Rock", which is a cover version of the very famous classical composition "Canon in D".

You can download more of his videos here (http://www.jerryc.tw/), and his mp3s here (http://www.jerryc.co.uk/).His name is JerryC.

If you want to see fast fingers moving on a guitar, get Michael Romeo's (Symphony X) "The Guitar Chapter" video (or any other video you can get).

Michael Angelo Batio is also a very fast "guitar-shredder".

@Adster
His name is Joe Satriani ... :D Haha just as I'm typing this a Joe Satriani songs starts to play in winamp, thanks to "shuffle".It's "Hands In The Air".

And, yes, he's very good.He mastered many (if not all) techniques like volume swell, string skipping, alternate picking, pitching, natural harmonics, palm muting, ... the list goes on.

But I like Steve Vai more. His songs are more appealing to me.

Btw, I'm playing guitar for 3 years now.

I liked it, it was cool to hear pachelbel canon in d played that way. I can play it the way it is originally, i wasnt aware someone made a rock version of it. I have been playing heavy metal guitar since 1988, and only recently have I begun doing things in the styles of michael angelo batio (shred), but I can say that vid was cool. B) I can also say that if he wasnt playing such a piece of shit guitar, he would sound even better. :)

I can also say that if he wasnt playing such a piece of shit guitar, he would sound even better. :) According to his website he's playing a Fender American Deluxe (with Bridge Pickup: Dimarzio Fast Track 2).
Though I can't see the headstock of the guitar clearly so I can't confirm that.

However, he's not realy playing the song in the video - it's playback.
Only he knows which guitar he used to record the song.Maybe he even used his ESP Horizon FR-II ...

Google Video doesnt work here, im at sk00l atm.
Gotta remember to check it out later...

I think the speed is more like a one tool in the toolbox,
some folks use it as a hammer smashing everything.
(including me, hehe)

Perhaps, more important would be to realize the importanse of pauses in melodys. Amongst other things...

And I says this without seeing/hearing this particular video.
