Does anyone know what’s going on with Demonoid (http://www.demonoid.com/) :devil: . I know that on the 24th Demios started doing tracker upgrades so it was down. But since yesterday (2/28/05) my torrents can connect to the tracker but I can’t get on the site. Can anyone connect to the site? If so please tell me so I know if it’s my PC or ISP blocking me.

Actually i am mistaken i think, see i tried using a proxy to see if i could connect that way and that was the message i got, but on hindsight that may have been a error message from the proxy server and not demonoid. Doh!

Erm, I think you guys have got a problem, I cleared all my cookies and can still log onto demonoid, I even started a download just to make sure.




Clear your temporary internet folder and see if that helps.

It burns the file to a dvd, so if you don't have a dvd burner it probably won't work for you.

If you fix the aspect ratio on it it doesn't look near as bad.

I got the one with two counters, the shits on point, it looked real nice on my pc. Wack before the AR fixed, R2 looked so strange lol but after you fix that shit, it looked nice. I had no problems with the colours or sound. I got VISA version.

I've a problem with demonoid. I'm not getting a good download speed. I've no problem with filelist and fatalbits. But with demonoid i'm not getting a fair download speed. Even If there are more than 20 Seeds, I'm connecting with two or three of them. My client is Azureus. Is that becoz of my client or becoz of the demonod tracker.

I dont have any troubles with DL speed..
I find that if the number of peers uploading from
me is too high then my download winds down pretty low.

I use ABC so Im not sure if this setting exists in Azureus, but try
reducing / limiting
the number of connected uploaders..

So I go to my email, not there, throughout the day I have been periodically checking my email and still nothing. So, is this normal for a registration to take almost 10 hours to work? demonoid is what it is, use it or not, but complaining wont get you far, its free enjoy it as long as it exsists.

For myself, whenever my computer starts getting a mind of its own the first thing I try is doing a restart and seeing if that fixes it. If that doesn't work, then I'll defrag it, do a disk cleanup, and scan it for viruses or spyware. Usually that does the trick.
