I need some help in deciding which of these free anti-viruses to get. They are

AVG
Avast
AntiVir

I have used avg before and got a 3x trojan attack which it did nothing to get rid of it or stop properly!

Any help would be great. Also i am in need to of a good antispyware, free one that is. Currently i am using ad-aware but it causing problems along with zone alarms one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i dont want to use the microsoft one cos its annoying! Any good suggestions! Basically for both anti virus and spyware i need one which will do the job properly but not slow down the comp!

Also i need a good alternative to zone alarm for FIREWALL. Once that is very good. Would you recommend outpost one!

Thanks

Why limit yourself to freeware ? You get what you pay for sometimes . 100 % 's post to insanes site will give you some good ideas tho . Does your ISP have something you could try , example Shaw has a security suite called Shaw Secure . Even AOL has a program or D/L a p2p program and go searching .

SPF = Sygate :)
