I love Mayonnaise.

I have several brands i like for various purposes.

I like http://image.space.rakuten.co.jp/lg01/54/0000061054/75/img1376b4b93ygokw.jpeg on my french fries.

I use http://www.hollandsbest.com/mixes_sauces/images/ah_32140_mayo.jpg my supermarkets homebrand for all purposes, like making

garlicsauce or on a tunasandwich....

Though the http://static.zoovy.com/img/greatlookz/W200-H344-Bffffff/mayonaise_roasted_garlic1.jpg is nothing like my homemade garlicsauce, it's nice with a barbecue.....

I also make my own mayonnaise, but it's tricky to get it right.....

My recipe:

1 eggyolk
1 spoon of good mustard
oliveoil
limejuice
Black pepper and (sellery)salt

Make sure all ingredients are at room temperature!!!
Put the eggyolk an mustard and a little limejuice in a glass bowl and whisk well.
Now start slowly adding drops an keep whisking.
Keep doing this till the mixture slowly thickens.
Add some of the salt and pepper(carefull!!) when it has reached the right texture.http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y190/shannon28/mayonaise.png

Now i'd like to hear your mayonnaise memories, recipes, brands, etc......:w00t:

Naturally!!!

In this case also add(after finishing the mayo) some fresh basil, mint,http://www.obst-gemuese.at/images/product/imgbig/dille.jpg and thyme an add some extra limejuice.
(you can also use the dried herbs, but the taste will be entirely different, though still very nice)

And use green or fresh garlichttp://www.degezondeapotheker.nl/easyshopmaker/tn_e14_3.jpg, instead of the mostly driedhttp://www.siepels.nl/pictures/knoflook.gif sold garlic!!!!:)

Tastes much better!!!:01:

Edit: it may seem simple, but you'll find out it can easily go wrong......:O
