I did the alone xmas thing once withthe pretention that i needed the time to finish of important work.

I have worked many Christmasdays.:01:

Double payment and many patients at home, so less work.:)


Also spent many Christmas days alone.:)

Didn't bother me, as i hate obligational diners and visits.:frusty:

I spent Christmas Day alone for the most part.
OK, I did visit my wife n kids for dinner but it is just not the same as being there when they open their presents.
You just can't enjoy that sort of thing from a distance.

I left shortly after the meal as it's painful being somewhere you no longer belong, watching people you love enjoying themselves knowing you've got to leave them to carry on without you.
If I hadn't left I'm sure I would've broken down, so I came home and did it here with a bottle.

December 25th 2005 was the most miserable day of my life.
