At dinner tables, cafes whatever the occasion where you share food from one plate.
Why is there such tension/dilemna over the Last Piece?

Please advize.

In spanish culture it is bad luck to take the last piece,
hence you offer it to the guest.

nope. we were dining with relatives from essex and they were saying how we have yorkshire puddings with everything. i just jumped up on the table and kicked them all in the teeth .. well i diidnt' but i could have done
