Supposedly THE most disturbing and goriest movies to ever come out (dont' know if its true, just stating what I keep hearing over and over again).

Will be going to theaters to watch this, seems freakin awesome, because apparently there is a plot and the first half of the movie is all about explaining the plot w/ no gore in it :O the 2nd half however....

Ok guys, watched this today....WOW. You've got to go see this in theaters, it was jampacked when I went (duh, it came out today lol). But ya, it's an awesome movie. It actually has character development :O something unheard of in today's movies. Not to mention some really really really really HOT CHICKS that get totally naked and start doing it :D and then of course the torture....oh man, it was sick, people got out of there seats and just left. Awesome movie overall, I give it a 10 out of 10.

edit: i honestly didnt think it was "that" sick or gruesome, they coulda made it even more gorier, but i guess they pussied out.

I just saw Hostel and its a very disturbing movie. The images where gross, but I didnt get sick, I have seen worse.
I'm gald the movie ended differently then I expected.
Makes one not want to go backpacking in the communist countries. :blink:

i was disappointed with this movie. dont get my wrong it wasnt a bad flick, i guess after watching Saw, Saw 2, it's hard for a movie of that type to step up to the challenge. the only thing i even wanted to see was the final scene the last battle, i enjoyed that and had a laugh at how the guy did what he did. didnt get affected by the supposed gore at all. we've all seen cut off fingers and a man running with a chainsaw(oh that bit was so classic i laughed for a good while on it). the main villian was just eluded to more than actually shown doing the deeds.

i would say see this movie just for how it was done and some of the key moments, but it wont beat Saw anyday. or TCM for that matter.

I was expecting hostel to be a lot better then it was. I herd that it was better then saw 1 and 2, so I had high hopes of this being a extremely good movie. It was a decent movie but no where near as good as saw 1 and 2.

Hostel 2 Is In the Making , Eli Roth Said it in an interview recenlty, search Hostel 2 on google and youll find it. I just hope they dont fill this movie with nudity too , ill hate that , its a Horror Movie not an Adult Movie LOL

But thats what makes it so good! Well, not the nudity itself but the fact the film starts off just like any other teen horror, everything guys want to see. People they can relate to, weed, booze, "eurotrip", hot girls and tits. But then when things just go so downhill for the characters, everything changes...Notice how the gratitious nudity becomes absent and those girls look decidedly ugly without makeup.

It was an incredibly chilling movie, especially when Paxton was begging for his life in German, I loved the fact that there weren't subtitles, but if you're interested, he said something along the lines of; "please don't kill me, if you do I'll haunt you for the rest your life, you'll hear my screams in your nightmares every night. Please don't kill me."

In my humble Opinion, Hostel is a terrible stupid little Film that should have never been Made in the first Place. Worst of all, that Quentin Tarantino gave his Name to promote the flick. Zero Points for you, Mr. Tarantino...:pinch: :pinch: :pinch:

when you really think about it this movie was just a spoof of any jason or freddy movies. just with more nudity. i mean yeah i loved the begining but when your thinking of a great horror movie and are dissappointed with the beginging, even though it was just building up the story. it pretty muched sucked. no real action. most of it happened in the end. i place lots of .
