reinstall word and maybe they are still in his folder (c\documents and settings\his user name). Bad decision by the way to try an upgrade.......almost never works.

reinstall word and maybe they are still in his folder (c\documents and settings\his user name). Bad decision by the way to try an upgrade.......almost never works.
This happens when you put Pro over Home. It tells you it won't upgrade, and to backup your files before you start.
I know this, as I tried it... and safely backed up/restored the files.
