Now that is something different!

I always had an idea. You know those rumble strips on the highway. The bumpy ridges that alert you that something is near, like a toll booth or dangerous curve. You could actually have long stretches of highway with variuos strips of ridges that would vibrate at different pitches. Tight ridges would yield high pitches, heavy spaced ridges would yield low pitches. No ridges are a pauses. It would be like driving in the grooves of an old record.
