tired of trying to find a KVM switch that
a) is actually in stock
b) doesn't fuck up the mouse
c) doesn't cost a rent payment

some BestBuy specific brand I guess :unsure:

of course Gateway has a 21in. LCD for $599 here locally....
but I think I'm sticking with CRT until LCD gets response times down to nanoseconds :P

I'm thinking of a new monitor aswell . As we seem to keep our monitor longer than our boxes I think I'm going to splurge this time around with anouther Viewsonic .

The price on the Insignia , is great no wonder its sold out .

or....you could get a nice LCD TV w/ VGA inputs (the one i have is 8ms response, so ya, "contrary to popular belief" applies here lol) for 700 bucks, and its 32" (orignally 27" but the price went down for the 32" incher). so if u want bang for ur buck, and dont mind a 8ms response time, i definitely suggest getting an LCD TV, once u go widescreen u dont go back :D

I googled the Insignia brand name not alot to go on , what with all the Asian contract manufacters out there could it could be Philips , Samsung or God only knows .

Monitors are one of the few components I don't mind obtaining used. A friend gave me a KDS flat 17" it's sweet.

yeah I thought about that, that maybe it was a re-badge of some kind
I couldn't be bothered with further googling
bestbuy and misc sales sites were about all I seemed to get
no reviews, manufaturers, etc

for another 30 bucks I could go with this one (http://www.pcclub.com/product_details.cfm?itemno=A4622774)
RealSync 19", same res, no info on sync though
a .21mm pitch instead of .25mm
is 4/10 of a mm worth 30 bucks? :unsure:
