"Your" can be a general sort of possessive pronoun, much like "one's". For example in case of rethorical questions and similar.

If I was to say "don't you hate it when nutters misread your posts?" for instance, I might mean that I do hate it, 'cos someone just failed to grasp the meaning of one of my posts.

Not even gonna' get into how silly your usage of "non sequitur" looks to me.
