I remember the first one as being creepy, this one looks just as creepy.
It also has the girl that plays Clair from Lost in it.

Brilliant! Another remake, can't wait for this. Is there nothing they won't remake these days? We are very lucky we don't have to bother watching crusty old films when Hollywood or whoever will give us a flashy MTV style experience with some semblance of a nod to the original.

;)
Why dont you like remakes?
I never understood why people dont like remakes. Most remakes are from 10-15 year old films. For example king Kong.It was a 30 year old remake and people were still complaining. And that "Flashy MTV style experience" is very impotant in film.At least to this new millennium. When movie change from this:

Into this:

Then thats a big change and is reason enough for a remake.
I know of no actors from 1933 or even 1976.
The Hills Have Eyes is from 1977 and this remake in from 2006.I think enough time has elapsed for a remake.
Your just acting like a grad student with a ponytail.
Ok Ebert:dabs:

reamkes why dont i like them?? because most of the time they suck suck suck adn are terrible and there go away from what movies really are

turn it into CGI special effects and all that bullshit people are more concerned about then the acting story and characters

You're the one acting like Busyman's mini-me. :dabs:

King Kong, good one.:ermm:

Remakes of recent years that have sucked:

Texas Chainsaw Massacre
House of Wax
Dark Water
The Longest Yard
Mean Machine (Brit version)
The Island
Psycho
The Fog
The Ring
Italian Job
King Kong (1976 and 2005)
Avengers
Time Machine
Assault on Precinct 13
Amityville Horror

Maybe they will buck the trend and make a film that is better than the original, Hills Have Eyes won't be that film though. I can only think of The Fly and Heat that manage to do be better off the top of my head.
