PSP UMD's & PS3 Playability? [Archive]

i believe the initial talk be4 the psp was even released stated that the ps3 would support the umd's. then i think they started saying it wouldn't. has this changed? will the ps3 support umd's? or will the only way for support be from psp to ps3 via usb? i hope not. kinda gay. just add an additional slot to insert the damn umd's!

Having an 8GB memory stick would kick so much ass. Only thing is, it would cost you a shitload of money... and you'd probibly need a firmware update seeing as how the PSP is capable of recognizing up to 4GB at the moment...

That's why I'd go for the 4GB stick... as soon as I figure out how much it'll cost me...
