Leadtek does make the best cards powered by nVidia, and that card is good if you're doing lots of media related things like editing video, but for games, I would get another card. The Radeon 9000 Pro doesn't compare well with the GeForce 4 Ti 4200, but the Radeon 9500 Pro is good and so is the 9600.

That's only MY opinion though.

Only if you really need those extra Vivo features. And also understand that there are different models within the one you posted.

64/128MB DDR memory
Is it the 64 or 128 MB version?

thats a solid card, i run a ti4200...

but the 9500 is better then it, bench mark wise... and the 9600 even better then that... as it is highly overclockable...

270 is okay for retail, but you could easily knock 100 dollars off of that, if just used a comparison shopper online, there are tons, but off the top of my head, I believe CNet has a really good one.

I think that card looks pretty good, but I'm no expert. In fact I've been considering a Ti4200 myself. I like the fact that it has VIVO, but that usually bumps up the price. How much is $270 in US dollars? I couldn't find an order form on that site...where can you buy it?

under 100 what? 100 decibels? 'cause it's not under 100 dollars.

edit: nevermind. was thinking of the 5800. looks like they are going to release an extremely cheapo dx9 card called the 5200, too.
