Whats Cd1 Cd 2 Cd 3

I see that some movies a split into cd1 2 ect, but the format of these films is avi so if i get them and try to convert them to vcd/svcd wont they take more than the two/three cds?

if u need it in 1 disc than use a dvd.

no..the size of the source is irrelevant to the out come of ur vcd/svcd.
Without going in 2 to much detail ..the outcome is more based on the
lenght of the movie and quality bitrate & shit
in other words how ever u normaly encode ur vcd.. say this 3cd is
90min movie it will come the same as any other 90min movie u
encode :)
