Hi I have been tryin to Install Adobe Photoshop CS2... I downloaded the trial but I have a serial number and everytime I try to install it, it says "Error 1311 Source File not found... Verify that Data1.cab exists and that you can access it" Can anyone explain how to fix this?

Are you running it off a cd or your hard drive? Sometimes, if could be the CD. If it is on a CD copy the contents to the HD and then run it.

Are the contents extracted from a compressed archive? Because if not then the installer probably cannot find the files.

If you use WinRAR then double click the setup file directly in WinRAR, don't extract it first.

I don't know if they're compressed or not and how do i use WinRAR? All I know is that I can get into the Data1.cab file easy and that theres a ton of folders in the Photoshop CS2 folder... so can anyone explain how WinRAR works or how I can get it to understand that I can access the stupid thing...

try redownloading it again. Maybe it's corrupt.

I've downloaded it four times and the same thing happened every time...
Someone Please Help!
I've seen this problems tons of times and people have found answers but instead of posting the answer to the problem they just say "got it" and and the thread...
Someone has to know the solution!

Well i've got rid of the data1.cab error by using WinRAR but now it comes up with an error "Cannot find RAR#$!DI13... blah blah blah" and I open that with WinRAR and every time it comes up with that error but a different folder... its been DI11, DI12, DI13, and DI14... do I have to just keep opening all of the folders? or does anyone know how to fix this? or what? I've heard of it happening before so please help

try clearing your cache first.
