...if Packard Bell is a part of Hewlett Packard or not?

I've got an interview with HP tomorrow and I don't want to sound like an idiot when I declare I've been using PB PC's in one of our clients offices:blink:

PS: Does anyone have tips on how to build a bridge with Lego...because that's a part of the interview:unsure:

Of course not.:ermm:

Well they've got the same name don't they?
And a couple of years ago HP bought Compaq so maybe they got PB as well.

Now about that bridge in Lego...

I don't think you want to make that mistake in your interview, they might be touchy about it...

Packard Bell sometimes benefited from misplaced name recognition, with consumers (especially first-time computer buyers) and even some salespeople associating it with other similarly-named companies, such as Hewlett-Packard (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hewlett-Packard), Pacific Bell (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pacific_Bell), and Packard (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Packard).

Give the person interviewing you the new Prehistoric Power Lego gift set, tell him or her that they can give it to one of their younger relatives.

You've built a bridge with Lego :smilie4:

Tell them you're boycotting lego as a protest. :snooty:

P.S. Seriously, building a bridge with lego is easy.... :ermm:

It's a team effort. I'm not giving them any gifts until they give me a bloody job!

I wonder if it would be better to go and have a spliff before going to this thing. :D

One thing to avoid would be throwing away all the black bricks and saying, "I just don't like the blacks."

A cantilever bridge is probably your best bet. Or make a giant arch...

I've followed at least three of Busy's posts with that pic in the past.

Also the Captain Obvious one on more than a couple of occasions.

Good to see he's still got it.

Aye, that's a proper bridge that one. Not like those crappy American bridges. Golden Gate Bridge? Golden Gay Bridge more like.

Stupid city, the only reason people like it is because of all the gays. If it didn't have any gays then it would just be a normal city and wouldn't win any Oscars.

Yeah I saw some documentary about San Fran and it talked about how it became so gay.

edit: Morgan Spurlock's 30 Days (the Supersize Me guy)

That show had a guy from Texas live the gay lifestyle for 30 days....in San Fran.

They made me build a tower:dry:

Apparently I made £80,000 building a single tower out of single bricks that was 70cm high. I'm a genius. I kept telling everyone but now it's for sure because the HP people said so.

Skweeky, it is a good idea to read up on the company ifo before you go...maybe you can ask for a "jaarverslag" first...then you can read up on them...and ask them a few questions, preferably questions, thay might not have a direct answer to. ...alway looks good...

Good luck, you'll probably have to build a photocopier out of lego in the second round (or something)
