I don't think so. PCI has been around longer than AGP. Maybe you're thinking about PCI Express?

That's nice. I'm glad to see that those who said the last generation was the final one for agp were wrong.
I think a lot of people have agp mobos that'll see more use than people might have previously thought, now. It's nice to see this isn't the end of the road (although 64bit/pci-e is the future, of course).
The x1600pro cards from sapphire are another option, a cheaper one at that. (For those who can't afford a complete switch to the latest stuff, but want the latest gen gfx, at least, I mean.)
