So sorry if this has been covered but I'd like personal replies, what speeds would I be looking at getting if I subscribed?
I'm currently with my free news server (Blueyonder) my connection is 10meg and I'm constantly downloading at top speed 1.2meg or thereabouts.

Would I still see this speed with Newshosting.com?

As you know, free news servers have shit retention I think Blueyonder's is a week, hence why if I join a paid server for a month I can get all the stuff I need then just use my Blueyonder server and get the files the day they come out.

any premium news server will max out your line just fine.

Update: just brought it, only getting about 600kb/s but it's a lot better than what I was getting on Bittorent so bring it on :D

try changing your ports? the newshosting FAQ should have alternative ones that they support.

Also on Newshosting with blueyonder 10meg but I cannot get anything higher than 600kbps. I have tried various ports and opening morecoonections but nothing works. any body any ideas

are u connected by ethernet i had the same problem rung ntl up they rechecked my line am now max in out at 10 sometimes 12 meg

I use newshosting.com, but I only have a 3meg lines, so I max out really easily.
