Problem With Peer Guardian 1.9b

I download it,unzip it and get this when I try to start it

component"Mscomctl.ocx"or one of its dependencies may not be correctly registered:a file is missing or invalid
any ideas?

well thanks anyways.
I assumed that those(vb6) came with xp.
I was wrong

actually I just did it and restarted and I still get the same problem. :angry:

The solution I gave in a different thread does not apply here.

VB6 does come with XP. But this file, is evidently not registered. To register it, go to start>run and type:

regserv32 C:\path\to\Mscomctl.ocx

And hit enter.

Obviously, edit the path to suit your needs.

I installed mp3 gain (http://www.geocities.com/mp3gain/) wich comes with the files and now everything works fine :)
