Google video would be sooo much better if it played the videos in the resolution they were intended to be viewed at. :frusty:

It's just stupid that to watch the videos properly, you have to download it. Maybe that's just a way to get people to download their media player. :huh:

also the videos are recompressed to stream smooth on a 512kilobit connection

The Google videos system isn't very good IMO.

The pixelation blows worse than LP on his own peen, and you need to download a videoplayer, install it, and still stay connected to t'interweb when watching movies you've downloaded (rather than just browser-streamed) off there.

It's all cawk.

i believe when you download the google videos they're higher resolution
like sublime's "wrong way" (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-5781041994149586519) downloads as an AVI, and plays fine in VLC
