I had another bit of a hdd feck up. Couldn't access an external 300GB drive, windeas couldn't even see it.

Strangely Partition Magic could see it, turned out it had corrupt data on it. It also allowed me to format the drive and it's up and running again. Fortunately I had all (or at least most) of the data backed up. So I have been re-installing it.

The only way this could possibly have worked, was with the gift of capitalisation, e.g. TheWizeArd.
