No problems disabled the Genuine advantage thru add on management I just
reinstalled win xp on Friday so guess I did n't have it . One Security update failed tho have to check that out . :ph34r:

Its funny Symantec taper protection would'nt install this one .

I googled "KB913446" security update and tryed MS info but no luck .

yup, same update failed here too, on my XP Pro box
don't remember any error messages on my Win2k box,
I'm wondering if it has to do with the legitimacy of my XP installation? :lol:

I also had trouble with (KB913446), it failed. Finally after several tries & several reboots, it succeeded.:)

yeah it was kinda silly, but normal M$ nonsense,
that they had a security update with no KB article....wtf? :blink:
I imagine there will be one, it just wasn't posted in sync with the update
