Does anyone know how to turn off that stupid feature which makes your pictures stick to the corners of the image boundarys when it gets to close?

Im trying to position something and when I get too close to the edge it jumps to it, and its pissing me off.

Thanks.

Just zoom in on the image before placing the other on top of it.
That will help :)

Im currently doing a wood texture, and I wantto add some imperfections like dents and big scratches (not little ones like you would do with dodging it)

Any tips?

You can see what they do to the metal and maybe you could that same thing but just for wood.

Hold down Alt while you're moving it.

Yep.

Or you could just 'Nudge' it. (Make sure the 'Move Tool' is selected and use the arrow keys) :)

You made that from scratch? :O
That's pretty sweet.

And thanks for the Alt and nudge tip.
Didn't know that myself.

i'm pretty sure you can fix that by just selecting the image and moving it around with the arrow keys... doesn't stick that way.

Over the years I have just learned to deal with it, but when it ticks me off the most, I just use the arrow keyes.

does anyone know how to make cs2 zoom in and out of the image with the mouse wheel?
Also, does anyone know how to make it open all files in RGB mode and unlocked?

There is no option for that unfortunately. I'd love to see it in a later version though. If anyone working at Adobe reads this, my preference is Ctrl+wheel up/down. :D

What I find useful is Ctrl+ -/+ :)

Also, does anyone know how to make it open all files in RGB mode and unlocked?

Your files should be opening in RBG by default so I don't really understand the question. As far as being unlock, I just press Ctrl+A (Select all) > Ctrl+C (Copy) > Ctrl+N (New) > Ctrl+V (Paste). You can do all of that in about 3 seconds time.

If in the future, you have any shortcut question, this is a great reference page (http://user.fundy.net/morris/downloads/PSCS2_Shortcuts.pdf). (4 pages really) I have it tacked up on the wall next to me. :lookaroun
