maarsen is in the area of utrecht (actually quite near yogi)
it is much like any other dutch town hence not very exciting
rent should be pretty much the same as in england.

Rent prices: I pay 450 +/- € every month for a "eengezins"woning :) That would also be the average "kamer" price too, I should think
