Ok.. you want a straight answer and believe me, this is not exactly the correct forum to expect that...

When you connect to Kazza , you most likely connect to the same local super- node as your "friend," erica@kazza connects to, too. Now, as none of the names on Kazza are unique, there could be hundred's of thousands of users with the name erica@kazza...

You have to change your windows username to "erica"
