Jonno's ears must have been burning.

Either that or he's avidly followed the forum for six months and waited until we mentioned him before posting :P

Welcome back :D

Yo Jonno, respect and so forth.

I quite liked school spam fritters, much as I hated spam. So the only time I got them was when there was nowt else left, but I always enjoyed them when forced into it. There is a similar story with iced gingerbread, but I wont bore you with the details.

No no, please do tell the story of the iced gingerbread, I am intrigued by the possibility of the perils of the aformentioned cold food stuffs :)

*sits crossed legged on floor resting chin in hands egerly awaiting campfire story*

Reading that back it would seem somewhat sarcastic, unintentional of course, so in closing I remember........it was a sunny day, not a cloud in the sky, the birds were singing Kajagoogoo and......oh wait, wrong forum, dammit :frusty:

I used to like school iced gingerbread, even though I didn't actually like gingerbread. So I never got it unless there was nowt else left. However I always enjoyed it when I was forced into eating it.

I never took the custard, or sauce en glaze if you will.

Really? what a fantastic story, I read it 4 times and I'm thinking of sending it to Steve shpielbergy :D

I used to love school food, was so unhealthy and nice :D but spam fritters should rule the world :01: ........although for the most part.....they do

Jonno doesn't drive... yet.

He does, however, continue to try to get into the left side of the car.

See that getting in the car thing isn't going to go away.
I've been in Scotland for over 2 years now and I still get in at the right side every now and then.

It scares my boyfriend as he thinks I'm going to drive the car.

Also... funny that you mention that they have potatoes over there in Canadia. My mum was over for Christmas and she wanted to know if they had potatoes in Scotland. I told her we eat mango's instead due to the tropical climate.

She didn't think it was funny and gave me the 'eye'

Do they have rolls and square sausage in Canadia?

No, we don't have square sausages here :( There are a lot of things we don't have here. My cousin's boyfriend came over from Leeds for a visit last week and brought him a jar of marmite - I thought he was going to pee himself he was so happy. I've not yet ventured a taste of marmite, the smell was quite unpleasant so I've passed on it.
