Downloading / Uploading

Do you every get vaguely uncomfortable when you are neither downloading or uploading files.

Do you just feel that bandwidth is being wasted.

Or does that never happen to you.

Doesn't usually happen and hasn't for ages - but yes indeed.

I'm usually always rather peeved if I get to work/home from work and my connection has dropped so I'm no longer seeding stuff from that PC.

I got a NewsHosting account last year and pretty much maxed out my connection for a few months, now there is very little I need to get so I am often not downloading/uploading anything (or, shock horror, I turn my PC off).

I just download the few TV programs I like when they come out. Having a NewsHosting account is a bit like having TiVo except I don't feel the need to mention it every third post.

sometimes i wake up in the night because my pc shuts down for whatever reason and the lack of sound upsets my karma or sometrhng

I have a NewsHosting account too but my Grabit broke in the middle of January (nzb files just stopped working for a reason I couldn't work out) - I decided to reinstall Grabbit but couldn't find my NH password, and I haven't bothered looking for it since.

Must remember to sort that out soon.

it depends. Sometime i just want to play CS:S but also want to download files with BT but i cant download without uploading so that means that i cant play CS:S without my ping going up high.

Then i feel like its being wasted

I can't really download anything at the moment, because JANET won't let me. I'm always on the lookout for anything random I can use this stupid amount of bandwidth on.
