I had my ADSL line upgraded yesterday from 4096/1024 to 24000/1300

..but...when I conduct a speed test here.. http://speedtest.bbned.nl/test/results.php?

You have FTTP or are you on a campus?

edit: nvm I see ADSL2+. I have never worked with that before and I work for the phone company.:(

Even when that gets here I bet comapanies will still order T1's like water, just for net access.

The only purpose for a T1 these days is to breakout the channels.

i get 1Mb line for that much here.
21Mb per sec, thats crazy, a 1GB file could easly finish in 15min or less. offcorse over private trackers.

well something is wrong as it should be only 24000/1300 but it seems unlimited... so I suppose I should phone and tell them... but.. erm... :slap: :shutup:

Plymouth is the last place to benefit from Blueyonder's latest speed upgrade, whilst some parts of the country have been on 10mb since October I have yet to be upgraded from 4mb.

Still, with my NewsHosting account (a lot like TiVo) I don't really mind as full-speed on 4mb all the time is pretty sweet.

well I am testing the latest, gas-pipe INTERNET technology...maybe the speed comes because it sort of ..flows with the gas or something...
