The Andy Griffith Show was one of the first programs I can remeber watching as a kid.

Don Knotts as "Barney Fife" is definitely one of the most memorable charaters ever to appear on television.

Yeah, I was remembering today,
that episode when they (Terry, Janet and Him) where decorating "Jack's Bristro"
and the wallpaper just woudn't stick to the wall, so he takes the stapler and
gets it done.
Damn that was fine comedy.

He also apeared more resently in the episode of '8 Simple Rules' where they make a dejabu (or however you spell it)
about 'Three's Company, does any one remember that?

Comedy - hell.

You'd be surprised how many "handyfolk" have done that very thing.

Almost as common as duck tape.

I wish it was the dinosaur that die,
not Don.

Well, I guess you are right, but still,
what I mean is that if, lets say, if Jim Carey does the same thing,
it just wouldn't be the same, at least not to me.

Of course.

Carey would somehow wind up stapling himself beneath the wallpaper and then turn it into a butthole gag.

I remember watching that show every morning on the weekend when I was just little. I also used to watch Green Acres and Leave it to Bever...
