I think it's ghey on University Challenge when they say "Hello. My name is WithCheese, I come from Plymouth, and I am reading English."

University Challenge is like ghey pron for students.

I've given up on doing coursework, I'm now considering the comedy value of handing in a piece of paper with the word "ghey" typed on it in 92pt Arial.

I was a student once - back in the days when students went on demos and would lookly blankly if someone suggested that Business Studies might be a credible subject one day.

For the record, I studied Economic History at Edinburgh

It seems that is what the slackers here do because they are to lazy to do anything else

Someone recently said "so what happened, did you just wander in a wrong door one day"? (impudent young bissum :ermm: )

Sadly, that is probably the closest explanation. In the early 80s there were not many options as Maggie had decided to close the country early.

It is heartening to know that there are still some who understand the true meaning of being a student.

A Senior Honours dissertation is the thing you write the night before your last extension expires. The true art is in it being good despite the lack of effort. :whistling

Well, that's that.

If you are so ensconced and aren't already a committed liberal you are doomed to the dark side.

Save time and remit your dues immediately, rather than accumulate interest penalties.

You know it's right.

Check.

If I'd had the moxy, I'd have done it, too.

A safe bet in any age, don't you think?

Maggie aside, of course. ;)

Definitely

I specialised in Demographic issues such as the economic impact of the Black Death and it was the best 4 year party I think I will ever attend.

How I Became a DoD accountant is still a mystery - I think Maggie was putting something in the water or I was still stunned from 4 years of partying.

You randomly inserted capital letters in sentences, leading to bad karma, which as we all know has to be balanced.

I shall endeavour to fly the flag and maintain appropriate standards - it was the excitement* of using Merkin abbreviations that distracted me and caused a random capitalisation.

Karma awaits, no doubt

Karma works at a quantum level. Cause and effect do not have to occur in that particliar order.

I suspect you Became an accountant because you capitalised a word inappropriately, many years later, on an interweb forum.

Strict but fair.

Scrupulously fair.
