I just got back an essay I wrote last year about former slave Moses Grandy, in the essay I had attacked the fact that the piece was actually written by a ghost-writer. To cut a long story short my tutor reckons I was trying to deny that slavery had happened in the American South. So when I was thinking last week, after reading Hobbes and his cheerleader's posts in the David Irving thread, that no-one would be stupid enough to deny slavery in America little did I realise that there was someone stupid enough. Me.

True story. I got a 2:1 for the essay regardless.

Edit: Ouch. Too harsh.

Not many kiddies can afford the insurance on the 323f V6 version.

@manker....You have to understand that Mazda in their wisdom made some very lame and mundane 323's before and after the BA model
(not counting the odd pop-up lights model). In fact, they can almost be compared to the Ford Maestro years  I would say that the 323f is about as far away from the early and current 323's as the MGtf is from the MG Maestro.

Anyone under 28 who drives a Mondeo should give themselves a good slap. Fact.

It's a decent enough car, I quite like them to drive. However to be fair I have only driven good ones. It has good road holding and tight responsive steering. The point is, anyone under a certain age shouldn't see these as big selling points.

It's not a reps car, but it used to be, feckin' years ago, which is even worse.

I've only driven 6 series Mazdas and thought they were excellent. So I can't really comment on the 3 series, other than to say I like the look of the new one. Oh and a mate of mine who is a good driver has one and really likes it.
