Hi Guys

I have a system with Windows ME on it and Norton Recycle bin installed.

It works OK, but does make the system hang up sometimes. And as I hate everything Norton (too big and complicated) I would like to remove it.

If I uninstall it will the standard Windows Recycle bin come back ?

Has anyone every done this ?

You can disable Norton Recycle Bin. Right click and the option is there.

Its a great feature if you have little ones playing on your computer. I just found its a pain because you need to use it twice to completely trash files . But yes you can disable it or remove completely , Norton and WinME "ouch" what a combo .

Thanks Guys

I removed Norton Utilities and got my old Windows ME Recycle Bin Back.

It works all OK (or as best it can for ME !)

Microsoft should have been taken to the United Nations World Court for unleashing ME on millions of innocent computer users !

I have got XP on my new computer.
