I think it was a Cingular Wireless commercial with Motorola phones suspended in the air......

I found this song (http://mfile.akamai.com/3171/wm2/muze.download.akamai.com/2890/us/uswm2/431/284431_1_09.asx?obj=v31125) from another Cingular commercial for the Motorola SLVR (the one that works with iTunes). I thought the music was quite noice and atmospheric.

 does this look like fecking musicworld?

google the song lyrics, email Motorola directly, use a mobile song tagger, ask in musicworld, visit a commercial listing site....use logic. :ermm:

songs come and go yet your memory of the substantiual song is gone
yet you can almost play it in your mind
(yet know it elsewhere - where?)
are we then not all musicians?

In sequence, or as a chord.

Why would you think the thread is a rod?

I found the Hooverphonics song before I started the thread. Luckily the song, artist, and album title were conveniently displayed on the phone in the commercial. :01:

I can't even remember what the song sounded like in the other commercial (or too much about the commercial). I just remember I liked it.

It could have very well been Hooverphonics as well since the woman's voice sounds similar.
