I think people use Azureus because it has many features that most other clients don't have.

Azuerus is feature pack but with so much features comes a price which is memory usage which is about 70meg so if you have pleanty of memory you should give it a try, only way to find out if you like it.

I cannot get Azureus to get throught the firewall, I have port forwarded and still no luck. Anyone know of a good FAQ site to help with logon questions?

^ Did you open the ports first through your firewall, and set up a static IP?

Nope didnt do the static IP thing. I have a cable modem and I thought you couldnt get a static IP with cable. Plus dont you have to pay your provider for a static, over dynamic IP?

You just need to setup your ip that the router is giving you, ie. 192.168.1.2 and set that number/ip thru your router, What router do you have?

Does anyone actually use all those fancy, cumbersome options in Azuerus? I am just curious. I cannot stand how loaded and clunky it is. I have a high end PC but I am not going to allow a simple downloading tool to take up so much resource.

I would have to sawy that I like Azureus' features the best. Plus there are constantly new updates.
