i was wondering if someone could help me. i'm trying to build a relatively decent system that will play recent games. Now i already have a dvd-rw, and a monitor, and all the things like that. i just need a motherboard, a cpu, ram, and a psu.

You need to state your budget.

Your card is AGP and frankly there is little point in upgrading a platform that doesn't include PCI-e.
Add another $100-200 to the budget and we can talk.
