Welding, I wish I knew how to weld.

There's no reason for it. I just think it's such a bloke thing to be able to do.

I feel welding is aiming rather low now.

Welding ya but would settle for soldering myself .

I can solder, I'm actually very good at it.

The trick is to use good heat sinks and make the things to be soldered very hot, prior to applying the solder. Otherwise you get "dry" joints.

Hit golf balls consistently.

I went to college to be a welding fabricator. It's fun welding but doesn't seem to last long :dabs:

/edit i hope it's alright saying golf

Welding is overrated - its like putting toothpaste on your toothbrush.
Next time your at your mechanics or see someone doing it - simply ask them to teach you - itll only take a minute.

I wish i knew more about physics and chemistry - i wouldnt have to rely on those who do

Yeah, nice beading and penetration on your toothbrush.

I think not, petite chien.

you lay the weld in the same sensual wafting motion as you lay strawberry scented soothening oil on the labuli of any willing lady

JPaul

So where exactly is a lady's labuli.

A picture may help.

Welding is easy,
I was self taught the hard way, ended up in hospital twice with arc eye
great start it was.

The one thing I want to do this summer is start scuba diving, got the opportunity for the first time, so i'm going for it

A picture may help.

take you finger, put it on the end of your nose,
then slide it downwards slowly
slowly...
carefully avoid the hole(s) on each side
then gently slide down more until you reach your left eyeball
push hard (this may hurt)
squish a little further until you feel the socket behind the eyeball

that is the exact location of "lady's labuli"

:dabs: if you manage to solder yourself, i'd say you aren't very good at it

I see the problem we have here.

I would like to able to revoke drivers licenses at will.

ANYONE that brakes to a greenlight should never be allowed to drive again.

When approaching an intersection one should automatically pick a line of demarcation based on the standard length of a yellow light and traffic speed.

If you pass this line you can "make" the light.

If you are behind it, a caution signal indicates that you should brake.

One should NEVER drive thinking that the whole system is arbitrary and unpredictable.

Clueless people should be taking the bus.

I'd like to be able to survive without breathing. It may not seem like a good thing to most, but to someone that grew up with asthma, difficulty breathing can make you frantic. With no need for it at all, things would be alot easier, swimming for example.

Realistically? I don't know. Maybe go without being ill, but that could just be the after-effects from last night talking. I can think of many fantasical things I'd like to be able to do.

Things Which You Would Like To Be Able To Do

I'd quite like to be able to shit money, but no matter how hard I try, I cannot. :dabs:

Seriously, I'd quite like to be able to invent stuff, and build robots, etc. I'd like to be able to build a kick-ass robot and then pwn everything else on robot wars :01:

That started to sound rather geeky there, mate.

No offence and all that.

Barbarossa

Building the robot would involve a fair amount of welding.

Yeah, and also, you know when they say "Deactivate Robots" at the end of the fight pwnage, mine would refuse to deactivate, and then wreak swathes of havoc and carnage across the studio audience. And Craig Charles. :dabs:

Ah, there's a load of welding involved. You didn't mention that.

Welding cancels any geek factor. As does your crazed deathbot.
