Is the "peace-keeping" US troops in Iraq there purely for da oil?

No. The reason the US is in iraq is a shell game. A diversion. The real problem is the back-stabbing royal family in saudi arabia. Plus those in power in the US with high level positions/contacts in oil.

Yes they're their for the oil because if they weren't, the manufacturing plants and whatnot would have been overrun/destroyed a long time ago (but then again they wouldn't have been if the invasion didn't take place).

No, because if they pack up and leave, there will be an instantaneous civil war, and also if the US and UK pack up and leave they will look like cowards and become more vulnerable to attack.

Most people believe it's the oil, but you can't be 100% sure with the U.S. and it's conspiracies.

One thing for certain though is that we shouldn't police the damn world. Besides, a world consisting of a single nation would be bland and boring. Maybe we could still do away with communism, but then are imports would be lacking. Maybe...or...just Maybe, we shouldn't be mettling with the affairs of our neighboring countries...or...present/potential Allies?

Osama Bin Laden is no excuse for the war that's been going on. For all we know, he's either dead or hideing...with a complete makeover (sex change? lol)

I'm not sure but was just reading about all the young Canadian boys and girls dieing every day . I don't mean to forget about all the other peace keeping forces helping , just thinking closer to home .
