My friend Glen and I wrote a song yesterday...about being tired of the war.
I play drums, sing backing vocals and speak spoken word stuff.

“The wars come and go in blood and tears; but whether they are bad wars, or what are comically called good wars, they are of one effect in death and sorrow.” -William Dean Howells

The music and words were pretty good. The singing...ouch.

Overall it's decent.

Peace,PaulPretty good, I thought. Especially as it was put together in a day!

I usually don't have any patience with new music but I've listened to it a few times to properly get the message. The guitar is great too.

Thanks for posting.

Great work BD...I wonder if you would be prepared to upload it to me on soulseek? I will then schedule it to be played later this evening on my radio station.... :)

Yes, I'll upload it here in a bit. I was planning on putting it in my shared folder
later.

I'm glad you liked it. We recorded it on a Roland VS 1880 in 3 takes-
and mixed it down in about 15 minutes. I'm going to put out a better
mix later.

Peace bd

good initiative
develope further -- i liked the overlay distant "quote thing 3/4 down (echo stuff)
singing is in itself opressed, needs discovery of yourself to achieve freedom
in total very 70's
take one of busyman threads and develope from there.
get to the point

(i no know music)

I always wanted a VS-880 tone module way back.

Now I have an old Alesis QS 8.1 that I never took outta the box. I didn't realize how much room I needed for the damn thing. I also have an Ensoniq ASR 10, Roland R8 drum machine, and some newer keyboards.

I don't know why I haven't tried getting sound cards off of eBay.:stars:
